ANDROID NOUGAT 7.0
According to The Korea Times, Samsung confirmed that the Note 7 would receive an update to Android 7.0 Nougat "in two to three months." Thus, you should expect your Galaxy Note 7 (assuming you're buying one) to get an official taste of Nougat sometime in October or November. Reportedly, Koh Dong-jin, President of Samsung Mobile, talked about this during a Note 7 media event in South Korea. The Samsung chief said that it's "crucial to build a stable and seamless platform for users [ ], that's why we are planning to do enough beta testing before any OS updates.

While LG will beat Samsung to the punch in releasing the world's first Android 7.0 Nougat smartphone (the upcoming V20), Samsung will obviously bring the new iteration of Android to many of its devices. One of them is the recently unveiled Galaxy Note 7, which is already available to pre-order, and should hit shelves in various regions starting August 19, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
